Kaddija’s story
20-year-old Kaddija Keita did not feel confident about her leadership abilities, clarity of vision as a leader and capacity to motivate herself when she joined the Lead4Hope programme in July 2021. Furthermore, like many young people coming from an African environment characterised by extended families, she tended to be distracted from her goals by matters in her personal life.
Participating in the programme enabled Kaddija to benefit enormously from a personalised coaching tailored to her specific needs. Thus, through Harmonisation exercises, Kaddija improved her self-knowledge and learnt to do only what is in harmony with her inner self, and to priories her peace of mind, self-care and relaxation, as well as the pursuit of her personal goals.
Key Achievements:
- Submitted her candidacy and was elected as President of Buckingham University’s Law Society (BULS);
- Worked with Students Union to provide BULS with its first ever social media policy;
- Overcame team challenges.
